Duck Hill Library summer reading program was held June 20, 2022 at the library. Montgomery County Farm Bureau YF&R sponsored the program, on the book of the year, “Tops and Bottoms” with Betty Mills, presenting the program.
The book of the year “Tops and Bottoms” has an additional book for “Special Needs.” The book has been a top seller and used in many classrooms. The book gives children an opportunity to identify vegetables and how they are grown. They decide if it is the top of the soil, or the bottom.
Duck Hill attendees enjoyed the afternoon, with several activities. Those in attendance were: Keri Elizabeth Harris ,Xander Harris, Blakely Powell, Jalynn Powell, Braelyn Powell. Several adults were in attendance and were very helpful. The librarian , Dina Kilburn was presented the book of the year, for Duck Hill Library, by YF&R.
