On Wednesday, June 15, 2022, a groundbreaking was held for the Housing Development on Road 604.
Tribal Chief Cyrus Ben and Pearl River Tribal Council members Nigel Gibson, Deborah Martin, and Kent Wesley made a few remarks at the site. 2021-2022 Choctaw Indian Princess Shemah Crosby, Tribal Council members Wilma Simpson-McMillan, Demando Mingo, Loriann Ahshapanek, Choctaw Housing Program Director Darlene Willis, Construction Management officials, and project partners were also in attendance for this photo op event.
