On Tuesday, June 7th there were 108 in attendance at our first Summer Library Program Day. Ms. Jackie Henne Kerr from the MS Natural Science Museum came; she brought two baby alligators, three turtles and a snake. She also brought several animal furs. Ms. Jackie educated the crowd on the 6 venomous snakes in MS, the difference in: Mud, Musk & Box Turtles and that there are no crocodiles in MS only alligators.
