On May 10th, 2022, KPD Investigators placed Mr Justin Thornton into custody for Credit Card use with Intent to Defraud. A local business contacted KPD investigators stating that they suspected that Mr Thornton had used two different credit cards owned by the business. They reported that Mr Thornton had used the cards an estimated three times a day from approximately January till May to purchase an estimated $62,004.42 in diesel fuel. Mr Thornton was booked into the Leake County Jail and given a $10,000 bond.
