On Friday, May 16, former Kosciusko Senior High School standout Tyler VanCise’s current collegiate team the Whitworth Pirates lost 1-5 against the La Verne Leopards in the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship.
The game took place at Ben Hines Field at 1:35 p.m. and was the first matchup against the La Verne Leopards in the tournament.
The Whitworth Pirates’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 8:30 a.m. at Alumni Field.
