“Mississippi Zion” Book Signing Event with Author Dr. Evan Howard Ashford

Kosciusko native, Dr. Evan Howard Ashford will be signing copies of his book Mississippi Zion in the library’s meeting room.  He is an Assistant Professor in the History Department and the Director of the Center for Racial Justice and Inclusive Excellence at SUNY Oneonta.  He has 5 degrees including a Ph.D. in Afro-American Studies.

Mississippi Zion is the recipient of the Mississippi Historical Society Book of the Year Award and a finalist for the ASALH Book Prize.
