Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians – Tribute to Native Veterans

0Comments

On November 11, the @SmithsonianNMAI will dedicate the National Native American Veterans Memorial, a lasting and meaningful tribute to the Native people who have fought in service to the nation. This tribute to Native veterans recognizes, for the first time on a national scale, the enduring and distinguished service of Native Americans in every branch of the US military.

The museum is inviting Native veterans and veteran groups to participate in a procession on the day of the dedication, which will take place on the National Mall. Performances, films, and hands-on activities will be happening at the museum through the weekend. Learn more and register to process on the museum’s website. https://americanindian.si.edu/nnavm
