Lady Bulldogs fall to Lady Trojans, 71-52
The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs fell here Monday to the Mississippi Delta Community College Lady Trojans, 71-52.
With the loss, the Lady Bulldogs fell to 11-7 and 3-4 in the MACCC. Holmes hosts Northeast on Thursday at 6 p.m.
Delta led 20-17 after one period and 38-27 at halftime. Delta outscored Holmes, 33-25, in the second half to pull out the win.
Danielle Luckey led the Lady Bulldogs with 13 points while Darranya Wright had 12. Wright led in rebounds with nine.
