75.8% of Grenada County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 21,621 citizens living in Grenada County in 2021, 75.8% were old enough to vote, equating to 16,397 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 7,668 were male, constituting 46.8%, and 8,729 were female, making up 53.2%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Grenada County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 76.2%.
